Phileas Fogg, a wealthy English gentleman, leads a monotonous, lonely and orderly life, until he makes a bet with fellow members at the Reform Club that he will travel the world in eighty days or less. Along with the princess Aouda and his valet Passepartout, they participate in a crazy, adventurous trip around the world. The hero of the book traverses the lands and oceans not just to win the bet, but also to defend his honour; he was in fact suspected that upon leaving London he robbed a bank. On their way, the three of friends encounter a lot of adversity. Can they make it in time to save Phileas' honor and win the bet?
