Przemiana to wstrząsające – choć absurdalnie komiczne – rozmyślanie nad ludzkimi uczuciami nieadekwatności, poczucia winy i izolacji.

Published in 1915, Kafka's The Metamorphosis is one of the most widely read and influential works of twentieth-century fiction. The book tells a story of a young man who transformed overnight into a giant insect and becomes an object of disgrace to his family, an outsider in his own home - quintessentially, an alienated man. The Metamorphosis is a harrowing—though absurdly comic—meditation on human feelings of inadequacy, guilt, and isolation.
